Available for adoption – Gus

**Available for adoption – currently in Gauteng, but can relocate**

Meet five year old Gus. He is a very loving boy and needs to be with his humans as much as possible. He prefers positive reinforcement and rewards for good behaviour. Gus enjoys going to the dog park to meet up with his friends. He is very good with children of all ages. He invented counter surfing, as GSPs do, but in other aspects he is fully housetrained. He loves chasing a ball but if he does he hurts his front legs (runs very very intensely), as a result ball play should be limited. He does enjoy jogging with his human. Has a strong hunting drive so we won’t recommend cats, feathers or livestock. Gus requires owners who want a very physically loving dog, willing to let him lie on the beds and couches. If you are into cuddling, then Gus is your man.

Available for adoption – Tyson

**Available for Adoption – Meet Tyson!**

Currently in Gauteng, but can relocate.

Tyson came into rescue in a sorry state. He was covered in mange, had a severe eye infection, remnants of a snake bite and wounds from being attacked by other dogs. We could see the despair and defeat in his eyes. He had given up and was a broken soul. He had all his medical procedures done, had a full medical exam after which he was taken to the kennel. We paired him up with Chocolate and they soon became best friends. Chocolate brought him out of his shell and he Is now a happy boy and ready for a new family.

Tyson, estimated to be between 2 and 4 years old, is ready to start a new chapter in life. After a rough start, he has found his inner GSP spirit and is eager to share his love. Tyson is a friendly boy who gets along well with other dogs, though his compatibility with cats and small animals is unknown. In typical GSP fashion, he absolutely adores people and children. He really is such a good boy and so deserving of love.

He’s looking for a family where he can truly belong, and in return, he’ll offer you endless love and loyalty.

Could Tyson be the perfect companion for your family?

Available for adoption – Jack

**Available for adoption – currently in Gauteng, but can relocate**

Gorgeous Jack is a seven year old English Pointer in dire need of a family to call his own. Jack’s owner passed away and his life has been in turmoil ever since. He is very affectionate and loves to cuddle. He would prefer a large breed female as a companion. Jack has not lived with cats, livestock or other furries and fluffies. He is still very active and is at his peak at this age. If you are an active family, Jack would be the ideal companion for you.

Available for adoption – Saartjie

**Available for adoption – currently in Gauteng, but can relocate**

Let us introduce two year, eight month old Saartjie. This girl is boisterous, spontaneous and full of mischief, as any young GSP can be. Saartjie is very affectionate and friendly toward people and will make an amazing companion for a family who can provide the stimulation and exercise that she needs. She wants to be part of the family and accompany them on all sorts of adventures. She can run out the gate when given the chance, so this needs to be worked on. Loud noises and thunder does not bother her at all. Saartjie does not like cats, had no exposure to livestock and farm animals or small dogs. My observation is that we should not place her where she may not be tempted to help herself to some lamb or chicken. Saartjie should be placed in a home with a large breed male dog of similar energy levels as hers.

Available for adoption – Chocolate

**Available for adoption – currently in Gauteng, but can relocate to the perfect home**

Chocolate – 5 years

Poor Chocolate is still sitting in the kennels, waiting for her home. Her lovely pups are doing so well all over the country, living their best lives. Chocolate needs some basic obedience training and does not like small dogs, but everything else about her is pure sweetness! Chocolate was surrendered from a less than optimal situation and deserves a happy ever after home where she will get the attention and adventures she deserves. This girl has never had the attention and one-on-one handling she deserves to become her best self.

Chocolate is the godmother of all the new rescues that come in, especially those ones who are down and out. She boosts their confidence and help them discover their inner GSP. Chocolate is fantastic with humans of any size and a real cuddler. She so badly needs a family to finally call her own, will give her the love and attention she craves.

Available for adoption – Gunner

Gunner – 2 years, currently in Gauteng

Gunner has been with us for a good few months now. He is one of those rare GSPS who needs to choose his own canine family. Gunner can be quite protective of his people, so we recommend an experienced home and preferably a home with no other dogs OR meet and greet with an experienced GSP owner. However, he has a really playful and goofy side once he gets to know his handler and other dogs. If you know your way around GSPs and can handle a lot of dog, please come and meet Gunner and give this boy a chance.

PLEASE DO NOT PRIVATE MESSAGE US
