Do you love Great Danes and GSPs? You can now have both all rolled up in one dog.
Groot is a gorgeous 3 year old Great Dane x GSP (Dad is a solid liver GSP and mom a beautiful Merle Great Dane).
Groot is a loving, playful companion. He wants to be with you and loves playing fetch and tug wars.
He is good with children. He has had no aggressive incidents with humans or dogs.
Due to COVID contact with other dogs has been limited. Currently he lives with one other GSP female, 2 Staffy x JR’s females and a maltese cross male. Early-stage socialization was to an extend not possible with other dogs outside of the household because of COVID restrictions.
He did basic obedience training which helped a lot as he was a bit leash aggressive i.e. got very excited seeing other.
He is very relaxed and comfortable in the car and may make a good shotgun rider.
He is a powerful dog but when handled by a dominant handler which is assertive, he walks easy and responds well.

Completed adoption form and full home checks apply. If you are in the same city / town, a play date with existing dogs would also take place.
Meet and greets / play dates can be arranged where practical.
We will make every effort to arrange / assist for transportation (at cost of new home) for re-homing in South Africa. The transport cost is in addition to the adoption fee.
An adoption fee of R1 700 per dog enable us place dogs that are sterilised, micro chipped, vaccinated (including kennel cough), and dewormed.
